Stream Teams United is excited to announce that we are celebrating the 25th Anniversary years of both Stream Teams United and our lead on-water guides/educators, Earth’s Classroom, in 2024! For the Paddle MO Ozarks trip, we are headed to the home watershed of Earth’s Classroom - the beautiful and biologically rich Meramec River! We’ve selected a favorite 22-mile stretch of the upper Meramec River, and will be headquartered for three evenings at Indian Springs Family Resort near Steelville.

The Paddle MO Ozarks 2024 dates are:

Friday October 4th - optional arrival date

Saturday October 5th-Monday October 7th - Paddle days

For Registered participants: Trip registration includes 3-days guided trip, daily transportation/shuttles, and 9 provided meals (Friday dinner through Monday lunch). You will need to make your camping or lodging reservation on your own (separate from this registration), by contacting the resort at Indian Springs Family Resort 573-775-2266 or by on-line reservation. See the campground/cabin map below. Meals will likely be served out of the General Store/Meeting Room building located in the center of the map.

Thanks to support from the L-A-D Foundation, Stream Teams United planned an expansion of Paddle MO to include an educational river adventure in the Missouri Ozarks in 2019. We chose the Current River, a favorite float stream of Leo Drey, legendary conservationist and donor of Pioneer Forest in the Current and Jacks Fork river watersheds. Stream Teams United hosted this 3-Day, 25 mile float also in 2020-2023, offering the Paddle MO Ozarks trip on the Current River for 5 years!

Stream Teams United is an Affiliate Organization of the American Canoe Association. All Paddle MO trips are sanctioned by the American Canoe Association, guided by certified ACA instructors, and follow their paddle event safety requirements.
